How It Started

Founder & CEO Lindsey Hoell experienced the enormity of the global waste crisis first-hand through her time spent near the coast, constantly seeing trash wash up on our beloved shorelines. In 2016, she helped launch the Surfrider Foundation's Ocean Friendly Restaurants, a pilot program that was designed to help restaurants meet or exceed sustainable targets. The program has since gained nationwide adoption and continues to build an inclusive community of eco-conscious restaurants.

But the problem of excessive waste from single-use products continued to gnaw at Lindsey. So, in 2020, while enrolled in UC Berkeley's MBA program, she launched Dispatch Goods to help solve this massive problem. Dispatch Goods is a women-led and founded reverse logistics company building a platform that makes reuse plug and play for businesses.
